Setting up a blog is a lot easier than you think. If you can write, you can blog. What you’ll need to do first is decide which site you want to place you blog on. There are many to choose from. WordPress, blogger, Hub Pages, Ezine Articles, Squidoo and numerous others. Look at these of sites and see which one works best for you.
Each blog site presents its information to various populations and you want to present you information to the population that would have most interest as well a potentially pay for your insight.
I know a single parent who started a single parenting blog focusing on the issues faced by young Hispanic mothers. The blog was fun and entertaining. Her blog led her to employment with a major news network. All because someone saw her blog and thought “what great information,” and now she works in television.
Mommy blogs are just one area that you can focus on. There are daddy blogs, family blogs, vacation blogs and numerous other topics that you could focus on.
Everyone has information that they can share with others. Why not share you information and become and expert. It may be you intent to go beyond the expert stage and make money and that is the next step. Think of the numerous questions that you and asked and the numerous questions that you could answer. Then, the next step is to blog.
